Merry Christmas! Ok, we couldn’t resist doing just one more Holiday Home Tour this year. Now that your own home is hopefully is covered in discarded gift wrap, boxes, and plates filled with tasty treats, we thought you might enjoy seeing a home captured in all its pre-Christmas day glory.
Laura, the author the blog, Finding Home, kept her Christmas decorating simple. She used reds and evergreens accented with black and white. The result is a fantastic example of how simple color rules can create an intricate and layered look.
When you look up the word “cozy,” we’re pretty sure Laura’s living room is pictured.
This space strikes the perfect balance of sophisticated and relaxed.
Seasonal pillows add holiday cheer without adding unnecessary clutter.
She even glued reindeer antlers to her cow!
The amazingness continues into the dining room. A few sprigs of evergreen pop from the gorgeous hutch.
Of course, the chef who whips up all the holiday goodness deserves some cheer as well. Again, evergreen branches are scattered throughout the kitchen along with some bright pops of red.
There are even more photos of this home tour in the original blog post. Do you go into full redecorating mode during the holidays or do you keep the decor to just one or two rooms? Share your story with us on our Facebook page!
