We are always interested to see how some of our pieces are used within the interior design of coastal homes, so we were pleasantly surprised to see one of our favorite pieces of furniture, the Hourglass Side Table, used by Katie Rosenfeld in one of her designs showcased on The Pink Pagoda Blog.
Rosenfeld used our wonderful Hourglass Side Table, with its beautiful burgundy finish, to compliment the dark browns of a small reading nook. Here she proves that even a reading nook can have a thoughtful design, with a gorgeous wreath shaped lamp providing the light, a few carefully chosen accessories such as a clock and plant adding visual interest, and the wooden chair being the focal point of the space. We also love the playful design of the curtains, which helps draw the eye upward, making the nook feel more spacious than it is. Our Hourglass Side Table is perfect for this setup, as it takes up little space, serves the function of the area and boasts a style that is complimentary and not overwhelming, exactly what you would want in an side table. It can even serve the purpose of an extra chair if necessary.
If you look at Rosenfeld’s other designs, you’ll notice that she is incredibly adept at the use of space, not to mention using fun, cheery colors that complement one another. We certainly appreciate her creative styling. Below are a few more of our favorite photos from this Katie Rosenfeld design.
We would love to know how you have used our Hourglass Side Table in your home design, so please share with us! Everyone at Cottage & Bungalow would love to hear from you.
