Chaise lounges are one of the most luxurious furniture pieces you can add to your collection. They’re a wonderful place to nap, read, relax or recuperate. The trick, however, is finding just the right way to incorporate a chaise lounge into your existing living room, bathroom, or sunroom design.
Ideas for Decorative Chair Arrangement and Placement
For today’s lessons, we present to you the Cuban Lounge Chair. The Cuban Chair is both classic and elegant, with her mahogany arms and soft cushions. Now, your job is to make her feel right at home amongst your existing furnishings.
Corner placement. If your chair will be joining a smaller room in the house, you may want to try an underutilized corner spot. We recommend one with a window, so you can take advantage of the view.
Two to tango. Perhaps the biggest problem with having one chair is that everybody wants to occupy it when it’s in a more public living space, like your living or family rooms. Make sure anyone has access to an available chair by purchasing two and creating a lovely conversation area.
By the fire. There’s no better place to relax than in front of the fire. In this example, the lounge chair is used in a corner of a bedroom, offering a space other than the bed to stretch out or escape for a bit from life’s responsibilities.
