December’s coastal home of the month was featured in Traditional Home magazine. The classic shingle style home hails from Marblehead, Massachusetts. Marblehead is a great coastal destination about an hour north of Boston. This town is a classic New England seaside town with beautiful views of the water, great homes and fantastic shopping. If you haven’t been there – GO!
This coastal weekend home was transformed by the Boston design team Dee Elms and Andrew Terrat along with architect Ron Margolis. The team worked to turn an unremarkable house into a grand home4 worthy of its waterfront location.
We just love this welcoming entry! The large mirror and chandelier make a bold statement. Isn’t the wall treatment amazing?
White-light-bright. A true great room.
We like the idea of using two wooden stools instead of a coffee table.
Isn’t the built in seating area in this kitchen clever?
The pink and white color scheme looks so fresh.
Don’t shy away from a bold wall paper. This all-white bathroom comes to life with the pink paper. If you tire of the paper just switch it out. The all white tile and fixtures will never go out of style.
Do you like this home as much as we do? Get the look from Cottage and Bungalow.
