We couldn’t help but fall in love with this charming 1930s cottage! The homeowners gave it a complete makeover, transforming it from what Better Homes and Gardens describes as a “dilapidated” state into a space that gives a warm welcome to all of their visitors.
We especially loved some of the coastal-style interior design elements found throughout the home. Take a look below at a few of our favorites.
What’s not to love about that cheerful blue door? It certainly brings a smile to our faces, and we imagine it does the same for any guest, too!
The white walls help compliment the abundance of natural light let in by the large windows in the dining room, making the space feel light and breezy. The wooden shades offer a warm contrast, while the emerald chairs add just the right splash of color.
There are several things we like about this bedroom. We’re especially fond of the sea glass elements that accent the mantel and shelves, as well as the vibrant bedding that’s quite similar to some of the fun bedding we offer.
