This cozy paneled den looks likes the perfect spot to relax after a day on the beach. This beach house located in South Hampton, New York was featured in House Beautiful and we just fell in love with it. The mix of interesting materials and the blue and white palette results in true “beach chic” style.

Just realized how nice the wood walls can look with a cottage design. Never liked that wood look until now that I see it in this photo. Restores my belief that if you are “stuck” with something, it may work out fine if you think about it long enough!
