If you’re looking for ways to spruce up the look of your beach house, one of the best ways that you can find a bit of inspiration is by looking at showhouses that display interior design for coastal homes. One such recent showhouse is the American Red Cross Palm Beach Designers’ Showhouse’s 37th iteration.
This beautiful home features Key West-style architecture and is surrounded by palm trees, making its porches a place where one would want to linger for a while to enjoy a warm ocean breeze. Inside, the home showcases rooms decorated by a host of interior designers in true tropical fashion. Take a look below at a few of the beautiful coastal rooms featured in this spectacular showhouse.
The Foyer and Hallway– Designer Stephen Mooney created a welcoming entryway that’s tropical yet elegant. Neutral colors set the tone for a warm dose of hospitality. While we love the seagrass rug, we are especially fond of the chest that’s front and center – it appears to be full of character with a rather rich history.
The Dining Room – Mimi Masri chose to go with an underwater theme by using deep blue walls with hand-painted jellyfish. A hand-blown glass chandelier acts as the centerpiece of the room, while the sea-grass carpeting brings everything together.
