We have just added some beautiful new mirrors to our Beach House collection. Here is just a sampling. Visit the Cottage and Bungalow website to view our full line of decorative mirrors.
Recreating the complexity of growing barnacles is incredibly time-consuming. The Adrian is piece-molded and hand painted resulting in a true work of art.
Tiny green sea urchin shapes line this mirror. The multiple step process to mold, texture and paint these beauties is time consuming but is the only way to capture the details found in nature. The shapes are geometric and organic and the color is a soft neutral shade of green
Mushroom disk coral is the latest inspiration of our aquatic collection. Small round disks are overlaid around a mirror. Finished in a coral white, the Alba appears as a flower of the sea from a distance.
The rare Paua shell can only be collected by free diving. We use the interior layer of the shell(also called the sea opal)which is an iridescent swirl of intense colors…green, blue purple and sometimes pink. When the shells are applied on our thick border, the effect is magical. An added detail is the subtle cut flowers that are randomly placed throughout the mirror.
